How do I get access?

Where do I download the OMEGA Tool Suite?
Unlock the portal with the professional password, then use the download card at the top or the OMEGA product section.
Is the download safe? My browser or Windows flagged it
Yes — our downloads (the OMEGA Tool Suite and the HubX Programmer) are clean and come straight from dampf.pro. They aren't code-signed yet, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen, your antivirus or your browser may warn about an “unknown publisher” or an “uncommon” download. That's a reputation warning about the missing certificate, not a virus detection. We're adding code signing (Azure Trusted Signing), which will remove these prompts in a future release.
How do I get past the security warning?
When your browser holds the download, choose Keep. If Windows SmartScreen appears on launch, click More info → Run anyway. You're welcome to scan the file with your antivirus first and to confirm it came from dampf.pro. On managed or enterprise PCs your IT policy may block unsigned installers — ask your administrator to allow it, or skip the install entirely and use the in-browser OMEGA Web Tools instead.
Can I configure devices without installing software?
Yes — the OMEGA Web Tools run entirely in the browser using WebHID / WebSerial, so no install is needed on a supported browser.
Why does the HubX web tool need a small download on Windows but not on Mac?
The HubX connects through a CH341 USB chip. On macOS, Chrome and Edge can talk to it directly (WebUSB), so there's nothing to install. On Windows, that chip uses the manufacturer's driver, which browsers can't reach directly — so rather than make you swap drivers (which would break the desktop DampfTool), the Windows page uses a tiny free helper, the HubX Bridge. It runs in the background and lets the browser talk to the unit through the normal driver. Download it once from the Windows tool page, run it, then click Connect — no driver changes, nothing else affected.
